A new launch from Charlotte Tilbury is always big news in our books. From her bronzey palettes to her cult-favorite Pillow Talk lipstick, the makeup artist turned makeup mogul just gets glamour. Now, she's added a bit of that glam to the one thing you use every day: lip balm. One part balm, one part lipstick the new limited-edition Glowgasm Lips ($32) comes in two shades that go on sheer and change into a personalized shade of pink or red based on your natural lip color, warmth, moisture, and pH level.

Housed in pretty holographic tubes perfect for holiday gifting, Glittergasm is a clear lipstick packed with glitter that transforms into your perfect shade of pink. Jewelgasm is a ruby red shade that swipes on with a slight pink tint and switches to a red upon contact (finally, a red that suits you perfectly). The lipsticks glide on with smooth a glossy finish while vitamin E and jojoba seed oil in the formula nourish and lock in moisture. They’re basically magic, so we had to test them out.

"The longer this year drags on, the lazier I am about makeup application. It makes sense then that these Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasms would become my new best friends. They both look like something Sailor Moon, my childhood hero, would use that also doubled as some kind of glittery, cosmic weapon. I know they’re marketed as a balm but I was skeptical until trying them. Both glided on with the same smooth consistency, no sugar scrub or preliminary Chapstick necessary. My lips are naturally (relatively) pink so Glittergasm didn’t give me too much extra pigment, but wow! Jewelgasm! "I’ve always been a fan of color-changing anything because they remind me of my childhood, especially tinted balms that were the closest I could get to wearing lipstick without actually wearing one. I haven’t used one in years so I was excited to try these and they didn’t disappoint. I loved the texture, it was a bit smoother than a balm but still felt really moisturizing and wasn’t sticky so I could add on a few extra layers. With a few swipes, Glittergasm had a very subtle pink tint and Jewelgasm showed up as a very vibrant reddish-pink. Surprisingly Glittergasm turned out to be my favorite—I loved the low-key wash of color, especially for no-makeup makeup days. I also can’t get over the holographic packaging and glitter.
