Ombre Blush Is the TikTok Beauty Trend Taking Over the Summer—So, I Tried It

Summer is an exciting time for beauty. When warmer temperatures roll around, fun makeup trends always emerge. Many of us trade in our everyday routine for colorful eyeshadows, vibrant graphic eyeliner, and brighter lipsticks. But, in addition to these popular summer beauty trends, blush is having a moment this season. If you're obsessed with beauty TikTok like I am, you've likely watched quite a few blush-focused videos recently. "Ombre blush" is one of the buzziest looks to emerge from the app, with the hashtag amassing over 7.4 million views. 

As its name suggests, the trend involves strategically applying lighter and darker blush shades to create an ombre effect. While recreating it at home may sound daunting, it's incredibly easy. To finish, I used my finger to press the product into my skin a bit more to ensure the two colors looked seamless.
